RIM released BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Turkey

Research In Motion (RIM) and Turkcell which is the leading communications firm in Turkey have announced the release of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to the Turkish market.

Turkcell has around 36 million customers constituting just over 50% of the whole market in the country. The company announced a $1.6 billion revenue for the third quarter in 2009. The company is looking to expand and increase its revenue while moving further ahead of its two other competitors in Turkey.

The Bold 9700 has been recently released in both India and Spain as well in an attempt by RIM to challenge the supremacy of Apple Inc. and its extremely popular iPhone.
