Component Shortages among Motherboard Makers

NVIDIA and Advanced Micro devices aren’t the only companies that face inventory constraints. 

Digtimes report says that the first tier motherboard maker couldn’t get sufficient LAN connectors, solid capacitors and MLCCs.  

8 series of the chipset from advanced Micro device is one of the technology and hardware advancements that has been publicized from the past. 

Manufacturers are facing component quantity insufficiency and are insistently placing orders to avoid collision on motherboard shipment. 

Chemi-con and Sanyo Electrics are the suppliers of solid capacitors; MLCCs are supplied by Yageo and Walsin Technology Corporation.

Foxconn Electronics is the main manufacturer of LAN controllers.

Asustek Computer, Elitegroup Computer System, Gigabyte Technology and Micro Star International are the hardware makers who face issues of undersupply

Labor shortages are faced by component suppliers currently due to the tight supply.
