The screen of the HTC HD2 is looking old these days. It has a TFT screen, whereas newer upmarket smartphones have the brighter AMOLED screens. Also, the Windows Mobile operating system is falling out of favor.
If you look through HTC’s range of phones, you’ll find other phones with the AMOLED screen that run the newer Android operating system from Google. These are much better devices.

Sadly HTC’s AMOLED screens are terrible. They’re a washout in sunlight, which is OLED’s biggest bullet point. Though this phone may not be eligible for Windows phone series 7 upgrade, it’s the best Windows mobile phone on the market today, which is more than enough for me.
