Android Phones get Opera Mini 5 Beta

If you want to try a hand at a different browser on your Android phone, then you must be delighted to hear this

People at Opera Software have announced a beta version of the Opera Mini 5 Browser.

This browser is designed to provide a browsing experience, which is similar to that on a PC, on smartphones and many other handheld gadgets that operate on the Android platform

This new beta version guarantees speed.

With Opera Mini, website data are compressed nearly 90 percent prior to pushing the content to a smartphone

 Similar to Apple’s mobile safari, this Opera beta version also lends support to tabbed browsing as well as the typical bookmarking.

And there is this Opera “speed dial” feature for quick and easy access to your favorite websites

The password manager that is available, manages password and you cab pause and resume downloads of files with the help of the download manager
