Facebook the world’s largest social networking site is considering a legal action against the Daily Mail. The newspaper apparently published fake news against the site claiming a criminologist posed on the website as a teenage girl.
An extraordinary statement expressing its distress regarding the damage of the company’s reputation was given by Facebook last night. Discussion with the company’s bosses was followed after the statement.

Facebook is weighing the damages that was created by the article and are considering to take legal action against the paper. The company said that it was concerned about the behavior of the mail, even though they have corrected the story to some extent and gave clarifying statements regarding the problem.
The newspaper’s rejection to publish the network name had Facebook concerned about the places where people working online are vulnerable to.
