Inhabitants of a village in London have decided to fight against Google’s street view service that was launched in the previous year.
People claimed the camera images will allow the burglars to rake over their backyard walls.
The protesters claimed that they should have been informed before photographing their houses.
The cities that were photographed included London and Manchester
Privacy campaigners claimed that the service has breached the law of data protection.
But Information Commissioner said the service was authorized; Google blurred the faces and ensured that the people won’t be identified.
Thames Valley Police of Broughton area said that there was no increase in burglaries reported after publishing the places in Google.
Google has seriously taken actions to respect the privacy of people and has promised to remove the image on people’s request. Pictures have a link in it that can be clicked by people to clarify whether the image is blurred or deleted.

Google Street View is a fantastic piece of New Technology allowing ‘Real Estate Agents’ to give a more accurate description of the area, and for the potential client to search from the comfort their armchair.
Would you sooner discover before you buy a property if there were any bad aspects to the area in question rather than find out after you have bought the property?
Simply by doing a combined search using Google Street View and Google Earth you can discover many bad things as well as good things, such as areas of land set aside and protected as areas of Scientific Interests. I found a most beautiful countryside park whilst using both of these systems.
There’s far more plus factors than the same old boring alleged service for burglars.
As for Google Street View to discover a child naked on any street proves only one thing, a positive identification should now lead to a parent being prosecuted for allowing this child out undressed and without adult supervision. Well done Street View.
Don’t blame Street View prosecute the parents.
