The Launch of a New Web-based Character Creation Tool

An upgraded version of Darwin Dimensions’ Evolver 3D character creation software was launched as Evolver Pro.

This new version provides consumers character designs that are pre-built and completely customizable models for social networking websites and video games, all these through a web browser interface.

To give a promotional heave to the software, single character models with a fifty percent discount are being offered to clients during the week of GDC

With Evolver Pro, users can create characters based on photographs or alternatively designed from a library of upwards of 1000 preset characters.

All features of the characters could be manipulated and the completed designs could be exported in blendshapes and body, texture maps, facial rigs, specular maps and normal maps to start the animation

Evolver Pro also supports custom body and facial animation rigs to allow for animation through keyframe animation or motion capture in any of the animation packages that are available off-the-shelf
