Xbox 360 Console Vs PlayStation 3 Console: The War Continues
The three major video game console producers of the market have been preparing for an epic battle coming up. These three producers are Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. 
Though the main competition in the market is the Xbox 360 console v/s PlayStation 3 console but Nintendo Wii is also catching up very fast in the race and the motion sensing technology in Wii is providing them an upper hand over the other two in some markets around the world.
Until now Xbox 360 is winning the race with the maximum number of units sold in the markets all over the world which is followed by PlayStation 3. With Sony upgrading their consoles with the new 3D TV technology, they are expecting more number of users to buy their console so that they will be able to watch 3D TV using the PS3.

Sales to date:
1 – Nintendo Wii = 70 000 000
2 – Xbox 360 = 36 000 000
3 – Playstation 3 = 31 000 000
Currently they are not exactly competing for the same market. They are however in the same generation and so in direct competition.
PS3 will win the console war , wii 2nd and 360 will be last
MMM, maybe you should get your facts right. Wii is outselling both xbox360 and ps3, so I hardly think is is ‘catching up’.
