India welcomes the BlackBerry Bold 9700

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 has been released to the Indian market via Vodafone Essar. The sales of the smartphone device are likely to begin just before the end of this month.

The smartphone will cost around Rs 31,990 and features a plethora of options including built-in Wi-Fi and GPS as well as a 3.2 MP camera. The previous RIM smartphone which was released in India is the BlackBerry 9000 which has had decent success.
