WhatsApp Messenger now available for BlackBerry phones

WhatsApp will now be available for BlackBerry users as the creators of the App look to expand their reach. WhatsApp is basically a messenger application which allows users to instant message between various types of smartphones.

This will enable BlackBerry users to instant message those with an iPhone as well as other smartphone devices. The WhatsApp messaging application was originally designed for the iPhone. The App is available for a one-time fee of just under $3 on BlackBerry App World.
