HTC HD2 to Launch Soon in the U.S
Great news to all HTC HD2 fans! Sources from T-Mobile said that the much anticipated HTC HD2 will soon be launched in March 24. A day before that, MobiTV will go live as well making it possible to watch TV on the HTC HD2 through the wireless connection.
HTC HD2 will also be available for T-Mobile users at a price of $199 for a 2 years contract. Should users wish to buy the HTC HD2 without any contract, they will have to pay the full retail price of $449.
However, it is sad to say that the HD2 will not be eligible for the Windows Phone 7 upgrade. In fact, there aren’t many (in fact, close to none actually) that will be eligible for Windows Phone 7 due to the high technical requirements set by Microsoft.
The HTC HD2 was already available last year in various regions such as Europe and Asia and the North America is one of the last regions to receive this smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.
