Now PlayStation Network is Set to Offer HD movies – All six Major Studios Join the Deal
It was recently reported in the US PlayStation blog by the Senior Manager of the PlayStation Stores that Sony has obtained digital video distribution deals with six of the major movie studios.
This move comes about with the intention to begin delivering high-definition movies via the Video Store of PlayStation Network
The deal is inclusive of distribution agreements with Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures and 20th Century Fox
With this, users of the Video Store in the United States will be able to buy and download high-definition movies from all these studios.
Some of the movies available at the moment are Up and District 9, Inglorious Basterds, Zombieland, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 2012 and This is It
