The Battle among UK iPhone Carriers for the iPad
While in the United States the Apple iPad is all set to go with AT & T, a battle is already bubbling in the UK with iPhone carriers vying to gain the Apple iPad.
Joining the race are Orange, Vodafone and O2 UK
It has been reported that executives from Apple would travel to the UK sometime next week to decide over the mobile operator who would win the rights to offer the Apple iPad in the country.
Talks are already underway between Orange, Vodafone, O2 UK and Apple.
Unlike the iPhone’s exclusive deal with O2 way back in 2007, the Apple iPad may be offered to multiple carriers.
So the battle might just turn out to have many winners in the long run
Even if there is a remote chance of exclusive rights over the Apple iPad in the UK, all the iPhone carriers would indubitably prepare to wage a war to grab that exclusivity.
Well for now, we just have to wait and watch if there’s going to be a battle or a gentleman agreement
