Microsoft Demos How to Continue the Game played in a PC/Xbox on a Window Phone 7 Handset

A new technology has been demonstrated by Microsoft that lets one play a game in the PC and to continue the same game from the exact point left in a windows phone 7 handset.  

Demonstration of this latest technology was held in Dubai at the TechEd conference sans any announcements regarding the games using this technology

This impressive technology indubitably carries a lot of potential. But people might rather prefer interlinked games for each platform since there are very few genres that perform well on all of the three devices.

It is not the first effort at trying to link portable games with their living room counterparts with similar attempts made by Nintendo, Sega and Sony earlier with not so good results.
