GDC 2010: Gear Up for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa on the iPhone

EA Mobile is ready for an early start of the world Cup, following its announcement that the iPhone and iPod will first see the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

The game was made playable at an event at GDC, showcasing the EA Sports lineup for the summer and spring seasons.

Not many details are advertently made available with the suspense heightening ahead of its release, scheduled for April 27, alongside the console versions.

One thing about the game that we do know for sure is that the game is set in South Africa

Well, we just have to wait with bated breath for a couple of weeks (!)

The price has not yet been announced, but you can expect one that is similar to the £5.99/$9.99 tag on FIFA 10 last year
