The city of Malaga will become Spain’s and Europe’s first metropolitan to have 4G mobile internet service. The 4G coverage will span all of the Malaga area making it available for around 600,000 inhabitants.
Clearwire is introducing the service with quite a flexible pricing plan which does not limit usage while also providing the option of having or excluding a service contract. The 4G network will make it possible to bypass Wi-Fi hotspots and allow daily commuters to enjoy online video websites such as YouTube while stuck in traffic on the way from and to work.
In the US the company is expected to be one of the carriers of the new 4G iPhone which is expected to be released in a few months.
