New iPhone will be available to all wireless carriers?
The iPhone 4G which is expected to be released to the US market in 2010 is reportedly going to be made available to major US wireless carriers by Apple. The iPhone manufacturer has so far limited the release and user of its iPhone mobile devices to just one American cell phone company which AT&T.
Apple released figures showing record revenue for the quarter ending December 31 as a result of the massive growth in iPhone sales. By opening the new iPhone to other wireless companies Apple will certainly be able to push more sales and bring in even greater revenue.
Companies expected to carry the new iPhone will include T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wireless in the latter months of 2010. AT&T will obviously lose the advantage it enjoys as it is the sole carrier selling the current version of the iPhone.
