Verizon LTE to be one of the Fastest Wireless Broadband in the US

Verizon is the United States number one wireless internet provider based by the number of its overall subscribers. The Verizon LTE has been quite a success and now the company is thinking of pushing its 4G network across the country.

Initial LTE tests were astounding as the peak download rates were up to 50 Mbps. However, the average download rate of the LTE system is around 5 to 12 Mbps which is nonetheless, still high as compared with its competitors. Soon, Verizon will cover more than 25% of the whole market with 4G network.

In other news, FCC recently published a proposal of having a minimum of 100 Mbps broadband for more than 100 million Americans. However, Google will soon test its Gigabit connection which has the speed of more than 10 times of what was published by the FCC.
