Google once again comes out on top of the SEM  – Search Engine Marketing stats with 11 Billion queries in October 2010

ComScore are the SEM statisticians and Google have 66.3 per cent market share

Microsoft have 11.5 per cent and lagging behind in third are Yahoo who in the view of many analysts continue to under perform

Picking up with a single figure market share are Ask.com and others but the facts are that Google rule and others hardly compete as they are competing for only a third of the market share with Google sat on top of the pile with a solid two thirds market share!

More competition is needed in the search engine market a market with one company in ascendancy and nearly having a monopoly control is not a healthy marketplace!  Come on Yahoo bounce  back to your days of former glory!
