Social Networking Site – Iraqi Candidates Use Them to Reach Voters

With the election round the corner, the candidates in Iraq have started flooding social networking web sites such has twitter and Facebook with messages and emails so that they could get more number of votes from the voters. Approaching the voter through a social networking site such as Facebook or twitter is actually a very smart move made by the candidates in Iraq as most numbers of voters use some or the other social networking website these day to communicate with the rest of the world.

The Iraqi candidates claim that they can take the help of the new technology to reach their voters and have a better communication with them rather than using the old and traditional ways. Seeing what the Iraqi candidates are doing, the neighboring countries like Jordan have also started using the same tactics of reaching the common voter through social networking websites and this seems to be a very effective way of communicating with the voters.
