What if a person plans to renew his contracts and will be forced to pay an amount of $10 as mandatory data charge? The wireless Verizon Customers especially the
customers using 3G multimedia technology attached handsets must be aware of the fact that irrespective of their usage they are liable to pay the fees. The idea behind charging this compulsory amount had been that on an average when the consumer uses 3G phone, he tends to use 17 megabytes a month which costs him at $1.99
The fixed charge of $10 allows the consumers to use 25 megabytes. Well this could indeed prove to disappoint a consumer using 3G phone but not using the 25 megabytes for which he paid the mandatory $10. In fact, the best possible way to avoid this mandatory fee is to get a simple feature phone. This move has indeed left many consumers dissatisfied for paying such an amount for a service they might not even use.
