It only happened a week ago when Blackberry made the announcement concerning the launch of Blackberry app world 2.0. So far so good eh? As a user you don’t have to worry about anything, it’s the developer’s lot that is quite unaware of few important facts.

From billing to distribution options, the Blackberry App World 2.0 is a totally new experience. Here’s our take on some of its main and unknown aspects:
• App World 2.0 Has Web-to-Phone Downloads:
Yeah, it sounds like Magic to RIM guys but the feature itself is as old as the first time the iTunes or Android app market was aired. We don’t know why RIM introduced Web to Phone downloads after such a delay, but users are finally in for a lot of convenience. Developers need to make sure that their apps are transaction friendly, while users need to have a unique ID for secure transactions.
• Credit Card Payments on the Go:
Yep, it works like a charm with Credit Cards this time. The App World 2.0 is now compatible with Credit Card and MasterCard payments. Also, you can avail Google Checkout as well. Hence, there are easy-peasy modes of downloading/buying those apps.
• Operating Billing is Now in Effect:
Developers can download a plugin that is quite different from the convenient CC or PayPal payment options. The operating billing mode directly chargers a consumer’s phone bill. This is a convenient options but it is only available through a handful of supported wireless carriers.
