The popular search engine and leader Google will soon launch what is referred to as Google Caffeine which will not change the look and appearance of the website but actually affect speed and size among other things. The developer version of Caffeine was released by Google back in August 2009.
Google is most likely responding to Bing which was created and released by competing rival Microsoft. Google’s engineers appear to have focused on accuracy, size, speed and temporal relevancy.
The greatest improvement between the older and the new version of Google will be the speed as it appears Google’s engineers have worked hard on increasing the speed with which the search results come the searcher’s way. ‘Caffeine’ was tested and reviews showed the speed between the old and newer version of Google just about doubled. This is significant and will help Google to beat competition from Bing.
