Microsoft Bing Maps has undergone a so called Largest Image Update Ever in Maps in measurement of square kilometers. Its been said by Microsoft that, they have underwent the largest update of 6.7 million square kilometers.
With this update there is new aerial and bird’s eye imagery structure in the maps on several continents as in the picture below.

The Bing Maps World Tour shows updates on the Map. In another image below we can see the statistical data on a large basis for many countries.

Since Microsoft has announced this update as its largest ever done to Bing Maps, they are clearly heading towards achieving a big goal. And the big goal could probably be to compete with Google Maps and other similar competitors. Bing Maps with this update has created a sensation with a cool feature of Bird’s Eye Imagery. By the next update, Bing Maps could well be on course for a big competition.
