Nintendo DSi XL – A Mighty Extensive Upgrade

The 4.2 inch screen of the Nintendo Dsi XL is a baffling 93 percent huger than that of the Nintendo DS Lite.

The displays are radiant and beautiful. The combo of gloss cover and the matt underside is a beautiful communion of gripping power and style.

The upgrade costs around £160.

The Japanese Dsi XL offers a subtle enhancement.  The wider screen facilitates the elements of action titles like Space Invaders Extreme 2 and Chinatown Wars to be facile.

Any action that calls for pixel perfect precision will obviously become a bit less challenging owing to the larger display of the XL

But, of course, there’s absolutely no modification in the screen

Space Invaders capitalizes on the additional visual impact and the psychedelic onslaught is rather mind-blowing when the lights are switched off.

It is heavier than the older iterations, around 100g heavier.

The change in balance and the weight of the upper screen which slightly topples the display away is noticeable when the hinges are opened as wide as possible.

The buttons retain their sizes.

You are sure to like the solidity. It is extremely comfortable to hold too.
