Google Search Index All Set to Go Real Time

The latest news is that SEO specialists & Web Publishers may very soon be able to automatically submit content to Google just seconds after it has been published online.

Submission of new content to Google’s search index is a vital part of search engine optimization.

For content generation’s contribution to SEO, it has to be crawled frequently and effectively. But the truth is that a majority of the smaller websites are not visited that often.

Very soon, there may be a sea change in this. ReadWriteWeb reports that spokespeople of Google at the Californian Search Engine Marketing Expo in Santa Clara , have disclosed the company’s plans to introduce a new protocol set to make a reality out of  real-time search indexing.

Google developer Brett Slatkin revealed the PubSubHubHub (PuSH) real time syndication protocol in the autumn of 2009.

Dylan Casey , Google product manager announced this week of the company’s plans to establish a standard way for web site owners to participate in this kind of a program.

PuSH is a hub-based syndication system based on the ATOM format which works similar to RSS feeds, but with faster results.

This new system is not expected to replace indexing through crawling but the speed would be definitely augmented to a great deal.
