World’s Highest Grossing Movies: Avatar and 30 Roc

Financial records followed by the release of Hollywood projects, Avatar and 30 Rock revealed some startling figures. The data showed that these two TV screeners were not only the most popular of their times, but also generated insane levels of profit for the creators.

Avatar and TV series 30 Rock were presented an award recently during the 2010 Environmental Media Association awards ceremony. The objective of EMA was to recognize organizations, individuals and production houses that came out with the best record in their field of expertise.

Take it as a secondary objective, the EMA event was also held as a sign of support to the environment. The ceremony was commenced in an eco friendly manner at Warner Bros. Studios that featured organic food and compostable dinnerware.

Celebs and filmmakers were not the only ones who got an award. The Environmental Media Association also gave honorary awards to entrepreneurs, such as; Ted Turner and Jeff Skoll. It was Natalie Portman who presented the award to Skoll.

Turner founded CNN out of sheer damn luck and a lot of hard work. He is an open supporter of wildlife habitat preservation and promotes sustainable energy consumption modules. Though his Turner Foundation, Ted along with millions of people is working for the betterment of needy people and environmental issues.
