Windows 7 Mobile OS Will Fail: Know Why, How and When

I was one of those people who got impressed with the Windows Phone 7 and the OS. Microsoft really put in a lot of effort in presenting its masterpiece. However, the post event effects were just mere thoughts of how Microsoft came up with too familiar tropes and the same old stuff.

Windows-7-Mobile-OSIt’s true that it took the company a long time to create this real deal. Windows Phone 7 may not go as far as RIM, which is the bottom feeder in the smartphone market these days. The WP7 developers are practically bending so far backwards to appeal consumers that they’re neglecting a huge potential market.

And not to forget the long term appeal factor of Windows 7, which is not that much. Experts already fear that the upcoming Windows 7 based smartphones will face the trenches. Already, Samsung’s Omnia 7 received a lot of bad reviews. The phone has practically nothing worth noting.

The last time Microsoft released its OS for mobile phone users, the software was messed up. The company got it right this time, but it would be too much to say that things are going to be fine. Windows 7 makers have spent $400 million on the OS, a small market share will be a big NO NO.
