Microsoft’s Mobile Phone App for Google Android
Microsoft has made an application named Tag for the Google Android Mobile Phone. This free software from Microsoft uses the Google Android’s handset camera to turn it into a mobile barcode reader. It is very interesting that Microsoft has actually made its first application for its rival. Another interesting fact is that Windows Phone Series, iPhone, Blackberry and Symbian handsets have already availed this Tag Application. So Android is the latest entry by Microsoft, clearly indicating that it has changed plans towards its rivals.
The Tag Application is used by which barcode can be converted to coupons, or discounts that link to a website shopping cart. This app release for Android means that rival competitors are working towards a single goal. That is to have a good shaped app system in their hands. By far Apple is the only company which has a good app store. With more than 3 billion downloads made in app store, they are on top.
