Apple is contemplating having Bing as its default and official search engine on its iPhones. According to analysts and various reports this is due to the fact Google has been aggressively pursuing a share in the market for smartphone devices with Nexus One.
Google controls the online search engine sector in the United States with just over %65 but Apple’s iPhone does certainly help with increasing the traffic to the search engine giant Google considering the iPhones are the number one choice for smartphone users in America.
It remains to be seen how far this tug of war between the two sides will go. In the case of Google, Microsoft and Yahoo are involved as Bing is a Microsoft product while Yahoo is the closest competitor to Google in the search engine market in the United States with close to %17 share.
