Cell Phone Accessories – Motorola Backflip with Android 1.5

It didn’t come as a surprise when AT&T introduced Motorola Backflip in February. It is their first Google Android device and it has a lot of expectations tagged along. Motorola Backflip was first made public at CES 2010 and it was given the award for the smartphone for its unique design. The phone consists of a rear facing QWERTY keyboard and behind the display is its trackpad. This, however, is the only highlight of the device.

The operating system being used in the phone is Android 1.5 and some performance issues have been reported as well. Being so, it can be thought of as a disappointment, considering that it was the first Android phone for AT&T. the device is average and is usable. But with other Android phones lined up to be released in the coming summer, it would be perhaps best to wait and watch what is in store for them.
