YouTube to launch new service

YouTube which is owned by Google will try its hand in video rental service starting today in the United States. This marks a totally new approach for YouTube which normally focuses on advertising. Some experts claim this is a move caused by Google’s fierce battle with Apple.

YouTube will be working in partnership with Sundance Film Festival to release five films which customers will be able to rent from YouTube starting Friday.
