Sybase, Wipro to power SAP applications on mobiles

Wipro InfoTech, the India and Middle East IT Business of Wipro Ltd and a leading provider of IT and business transformation services and Sybase Software (India) Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of Sybase, Inc., an industry leader in enterprise and mobile software has joined forces to extend the applications of SAP to varied types of mobile devices.

With this, customers of SAP would be able to access their enterprise applications that are business critical, securely and while on the move.

Sybase and SAP are jointly offering collaborated solutions for extending SAP CRM and SAP Business Suite to mobile devices.

Wipro’s solutions would be founded on Sybase Unwired Platform, a mobile enterprise application platform which gives independent software vendors, enterprise developers and systems integrators the ability to build, deploy and manage mobile applications very easily

Wipro’s SAP implementation skills could be utilized for customizing Sybase Mobile Solutions for SAP. Custom mobile applications for other SAP modules like SRM SCM, PLM directed towards asset management, warehouse, mobile services and sales etc could also be developed.
