AT&T Android phones with Yahoo Search Engines

AT&T is releasing their first mobile phone with Google’s Android operating system in this month, called Motorola Backflip. As phone is carrying Google platform, Google search engine is the best fit but the phone will be shipped with Yahoo search engine which sounds weird though interesting. Android is an open platform and thus it can run Yahoo with same efficiency as it would have run Google applications. AT&T seems to have taken goo benefit of this facility.

Though Yahoo is set as default, users can chose Google if they wish to. This deal sounds good for Yahoo as it will give them strong stand in front of Google in search engine market. Experts say that main target of AT&T is to create a device that will compete with iPhone, which carries Google as default search engine, and thus have made this move to ensure their stay in front of Apple.
