NetComm’s MyZone 3G Wireless Router Preview

NetComm has unveiled the new MyZone 3G Wireless router which seems to be tiny. NetComm has not revealed any pricing or features of this wireless router. It seems like they are still in discussions with Telcos. It looks sleek for a wireless router.

NetComm’s MyZone 3G Wireless router weighs just 75 grams and seems like it could easily fit your pocket. Shiny black and Silver body are the designs. The Micro-USB charging port and SIM card slots are available on the sides. From the inbuilt battery, we can assume that undisrupted Wireless usage of about 4-5 hours on an average. NetComm also said that this router supports upto 7Mbps HSPA SIM cards. Being slim and sexy, this device would be certainly a must buy when its available on the market for the people.

Besides its beautifully looks the battery life purportedly outdoes its rival, with four hours use, even with multiple devices connected — and when your batteries finally do tank, connecting it to your laptop will let it recharge and still allow wireless connectivity.

This is a good product from NetComm but its useless for people living in India, as 3G is yet to be launched here.

surely NetComm’s tiny router will be popular if the price be affordable. With the low weight and better speed, this router will be must have.

Well, I’m quite sceptical about this 7mbps, I think it’s what they measured at perfect conditions, in a laboratory. The true number might be around the half of it, I guess.
