LFO Band Member Rich Cronin Passed Away Battling with Leukemia

The pop world got struck by one of its saddest moment upon the death of an LFO band member. Rich Cronin’s poetic verses and lyrics are always going to be remembered. He had been battling Leukemia since 1999 and passed away at a mere age of 35.

Rich-Cronin The artist left behind a woefully underrated asset of pop tunes that wasn’t taken seriously because of its funny/ stringy song titles. Take a look at “New Kids on the Block had a bunch of Hits”, the song is obviously a little hard to bear because of the name. Nevertheless, it was LFO we’re talking about and by God, they have the right to do whatever they want.

Cronin was born and raised outside of Boston. He started in the late 90’s with Devin Lima and Brad Fischetti. “Summer Girls” was their first massive hit that peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album got sold like lottery tickets and the group became instantly famous.

In 2003, LFO underwent some arguments and the group separated. Cronin was never able to pull himself together after the band fell apart. His songs lost that killer beat. The band did unite in 2009, but the only hit that the late artist managed to squeeze out was, “I Don’t Wanna Kiss You Goodnight”.
