In this fast moving world, more people are comfortable reading news online rather than picking up a newspaper and reading, a new US Research says. The web is considered the third most used source as a news service after Television Stations and Newspapers.
The US Research Finds that 78% of people get news from the Television and Local News Channels. 71% tune into National Channels. On the other hand, 57% of the people use the web for reading news, where they would typically visit 3-5 websites for news source. According to the survey the Newspapers are only interest of half the people reading news. This is a big blow for Newspapers as a news source in general. But there are reports that the Newspapers would argue Internet News Publishers to charge for the online news content which the people get to access with ease.
