Wachovia, the famous financial institution has introduced several changes to the banking system. These changes are expected to go into effect as soon as Wachovia officials have made a final decision. Meanwhile, The Bank of America is also making announcements concerning a “slight” change to its fee structure.
A $2 fee will be charged to any customer, who is interested in receiving mail notifications and images of cancelled cheques. Customers have the option of avoiding the fee by notifying the bank authorities about not sending image verification.
Customers, who used to use their ATM cards at other machines that were associated to other banks, they’ll be charged from now on. Wachovia announced that there will be a “no waived fee” policy from now on. You will probably be charged $4 on each transaction that you’ll be going for, at different ATM machines.
Multiply $4 to 12,000 ATMs across the world and it comes to $48,000 worth of profits that the banks are making off your back. Although, banks are providing convenience by letting you off with any ATM you want, but there is a heavy price for that.
