HTC to Unveil an Android-Based Slider Phone?

HTC is launching a new smartphone that is Android powered and offers a nice variety of features. People are calling it the HTC slider phone for now. There is a QWERTY keypad, 4 inch touchscreen and dual 3G modems for rapid performance.

 mTrip The Federal Communications Commission has named the smartphone as; “HTC PD42100”. So far, there have only been photos of this smartphone, because HTC hasn’t released any prototype or anything yet. Whatever information is available at the FCC website, it is evident that PD42100 will have;

• Dual 3G modems complaint to CDMA 2000
• EVDO Rev. A access
• GSM 850 standard
• Support for MicroSD Flashcard
• Bluetooth
• Wi-Fi @ 802.11b/g/n
• 4 inch touch screen
• Rear facing camera

Already, rumors circulating HTC suggest that the company wants to be the market leader in the U.S. A British tech magazine reportedly released news confirming the release of two HTC handsets in the future. One of them is already known as Desire Z, which is code named Vision as well. The smartphone will offer some pro features for the enthusiasts, once it is released.
