British Airways to Come Across a 22-Day Strike on Christmas Holidays?

British Airways is soon up for a series of doldrums of a unique kind. By the way, it isn’t the first time for the airliner to face strikes from those disgruntled clients. The latest dispute news came as the Unite union made efforts to push the long running cabin crew dispute.

Unite-union The strike is expected to last for 22 days, in which the union and BA are arguing over allegations of bullying that occurred this year. The problem could lead to threats with serious knockbacks for the airliner.

The ongoing strike may have a sequel if the crew thinks that the message hasn’t been conveyed properly. Also, every strike results in lesser degree of public support from the general population. We could say that it is a tight situation for British Airline with little or no options.

These strikes also have an “impact” on those B.A. planes’ health. Don’t trust us? Pick up any survey report and check in at the amount of damage that has been incurred on BA planes over the last couple of strikes. The last thing a traveler would want is, his/her plane going down in the Arctic.

What could be the worst case scenario for British Airlines? To think of it, if the strikes prolong enough, they could lead to a temporary hold up or shutdown in services for the entire Christmas holiday session. That would be too bad for the airlines… no customers = no profit.
