Millions of medical institutes are being benefited through the new iPhone app. This application is capable of replacing a traditional stethoscope and numerous doctors have already signed up for it.
The iStethoscope application started as a joke by some brilliant students at the University College London. Well, it turns out that the app caught fire with pro doctors, after it was introduced for the first time last week.
Some doctors have been saying that their staff members are really excited about the potential of the adoption of this new mobile phone technology. Doctor Peter Bentley said, “After inventing the iStethoscope, I felt that the smartphones are capable of doing a lot more than they were made for. The cameras, hi-tech microphone and amazing display makes iStethoscope a great application”.
In the future, doctors will be able to make more use of this application. It’d be natural for the developers of the iStethoscope to add more enhancements because of the amount of tremendous feedback and motivation they’ve received so far. Chances are that the upcoming version of the iStethoscope will be able to calculate blood pressure levels and heart rate as well.
