Gmail Jingles to Irritate Google Chrome Users

Google may be good for developing Chrome, but when the company tried to merge the Gmail experience with jingles of music, it received a huge blowback.

Google-Gmail It happens so that users who log on to their Gmail accounts from Chrome, they’ll hear an eerie music playing in the background. Some users thought that their system got infected with a virus. Several complaints were filed against the musical notes that Google was trying to play in the background.

“PLEASE MAKE IT STOP”, said one angry user. At Google’s official blog page, there have been numerous threads, all inquiring about the little unnerving soundtrack. Google said that the music is not there when users try to log in through Firefox or any other browser. Its just that the company has been trying to promote its new service through a blend of multimedia package. But it didn’t work.

The unwanted music takes a serious note when you have your priority setting turned on. Logging in to your Gmail through Chrome browser will suddenly make you hear a sound that resembles papers rustling against each other.

Apparently Google tried to associate the little track to the whole rearrangement of emails criterion. But users thought that it was some kind of virus, eating away their inbox.
