Here is a bit of good news for our friends at Philippines: RIM is finally making those Blackberry apps available to Filipino customers.
In a recent report, RIM claimed that new and separate version of Blackberry’s App World will be up and running for Filipino clients. Users will finally be able to download those applications in an all new manner.
For RIM, it was a tough but necessary decision. The company had to reassess its monetary interests and long term objectives for Philippine regions. The final decision came in favor of both parties. RIM’s spokesperson said that the Blackberry App World has been officially known for selling smartphone applications.
“Our job is to provide innovative solutions to those Blackberry customers. We’re launching the App World for Philippines in a new manner. There will be tons of applications, cool features and new modes of smartphone management” – said the spokesperson.
In addition, the Blackberry App World now has added support for Filipino customers. They can add their credit cards in their App World Account for easy payment solutions. Plus, as an introductory offer, prices of various popular applications have been dropped to attract customers.
