YouTube Music: The most popular music videos in 2009

YouTube has been one of the internet’s most visited sites the past couple of years and continues to grow at a steady pace. Besides online videos the Google owned website also has a a large number of music and songs with 2009 being the year Pitbull’s “I know you want me” getting in excess of 82 million views.

A quick look at the song now shows it actually has been viewed over 103 million times which is a stunning number. Young American Miley Cyrus came in second and third places with her “The Climb” and “Party in the U.S.A” getting over 64 million and 54 million views respectively. At this point “The Climb” has actually exceeded 77.5 million views which means since 2010 started it has been seen a remarkable 13.5 million times at least.

What is even more impressive is the fact Miley’s “Party in the U.S.A” has taken over “The Climb” with a total viewing in excess of 88 million which translates into a stunning 34 million views since 2010 began.
