PC Games: Alter Ego Involves You in a Story with Gruesome Crimes

“Alter Ego” is one of those typical point and click PC games that resemble the “Syberia” series. The only problem with point and click games is that they need to have interesting dialogues, nice visuals and something attractive to maintain the appeal factor. But in “Alter Ego’s” case, there is not a lot to be found. The game is famous for its creepy moments, but that’s all there is to it…

The storyline has been weakly plotted or maybe if it was strong, the developers just ruined it. “Alter Ego” is a murder mystery but it doesn’t go anywhere with its story. Furthermore, the game ends rather quickly with a horrible ending that only degrades the visage of the entire gameplay. You won’t be finding any replay value in case of “Alter Ego”.

During the game, you take charge of two characters: either it is Briscol or that guy Timothy Moor, who happens to be a tongue twister and an Irish thief. Detective Briscol happens to be on some murder mystery and fate collides him with Moor, both guys have to work together to solve the case.

The story of the PC game is rancid and when it comes to puzzles, one can say that they are boring. As a matter of fact, it is hard to find logic in environmental tests. Moreover, it is not necessary to pay much attention towards subtle clues as well as you will not be able to find clever solutions to multitiered problems.  If you do not understand what is necessary to do, it is recommended to click on everything in order something could happen.

Apart from “Alter Ego”, there are countless point and click games that really do the trick. If you’re looking for quality and interesting gameplay features, then this one doesn’t have a lot to offer.
